CHIMNEY MILL GALLERIES
A Brief History
Set in the grounds of a former water mill on the river Lark set in the breckland country side.
Chimney Mill Galleries first opened its doors in 1976 to show the work of the Chimney Mill Group, four painters, two of whom (Audrey Blake and Ron Ronaldson) still exhibit with us today.
The gallery expanded whilst always maintaining its policy of only exhibiting work of a high standard and always a wide range of media and subject.
Ten years ago we moved to larger premises on the same site where we now show work by more than 40 painters, potters and sculptors, with prices to suit all pockets.
Our Policy
The gallery is open all year round but twice a year, Spring and Autumn, we clear the walls and and hang a exhibition of work new to the gallery. It pleases us to hear time after time that we are considered to have one of the most vibrant and diverse collections in the country.
We are always adding new paintings in between exhibitions, so there should always be something new for people to find when they visit us. Should you wish to view our collection privately please telephone us to arrange a suitable time, as we live on the premises we can accomodate most requests.
